Commissioners

The Commissioners are voted to a three year term by the active and lifetime members of the Corps,  To be eligible to run for Commissioner, one must have previously served as either Chief of Department or President for a minimum of 12 months.  The Commissioners are responsible to oversee all aspects of MVAC.  Whereas the Executive Board runs day to day calls and training, the Board of Directors run the day to day aspects of the corporation, the Board of Commissioners oversee these two Boards as well as the membership as a whole.  The aspects of the Board of Commissioners are more focused on the long-term plans for the department, and manage our new group of professional responders.
